    This is The Jolly Green Giant's buddy, Little Sprout. This was a talking clock, however the
    clock does not talk and the alarm does
    not work
    . This takes 3 AA batteries.  The clock works, there just isn't any sound. Talking clocks list on E-Bay up to .00  Since
    the sound does not work that is why it is being sold at .99. It is still a unique advertising novelty item  which would still make
    a great display piece. Some slight scratching on the left base. Very clean for being 36 years old.
