Vintage Brass Planter Repousse Embossed Roses Lion Claw Foot Made in England

Description

Up for auction a vintage brass claw footed planter, with repousse/embossed roses.  I believe the green interior paint and the black paint on the rose band was original to the planter.  The bottom is embossed Made in England, but no other distinguishing marks.
The planter measures 8" high, 10 1/16" in diameter at the top, 6 1/2" diameter at the bottom and weighs 1.2 pounds prior to packing for shipping.
This piece is in good used vintage condition.  There is loss to the interior and exterior paint.  The rim edge has staining, discoloration and white paint splatters.  There are a couple of dents in the embossed rose band.  There is a dent in the bottom of the planter and all the welds for the claw feet look and feel solid.  Overall staining, discoloration, tarnish and minor pitting.
