    Iconic stamp issued in 1944 commemorating the 75th anniversary of the completion of  the First Transcontinental Railroad across the United States connecting the Central Pacific RR from Sacramento and the Union Pacific RR from Omaha on May 10, 1869 at Promontory Summit Utah.  The stamp depicts the Golden Spike (also called the Last Spike) Ceremony with incoming Locomotive Juniper.  This is a mint plate block of  4 with the USPS authenticity number and comes with an attractive display mount.
