Type 1 - short dovetail
A  turn of the screw  for 20 clicks and gives a horizontal (vertical) offset on the scale of the sight by 1 mm.
One click changes the sight by 0.05 mm, which, when fired at 50 m, gives a  movement of the average point of impact on the target by 4.0 mm.
The locking screw secures the square in a vertical position.
The vertical micrometer screw rotates along the locking screw threads.
Before adjusting vertically, the locking screw must be loosened, and after amendment it must be secured again.
