Offered is a nice group of five old steam locomotive stamps, carefully matted to frame under glass. Hang it, or sit it on a desk or shelf. The stamps depict engines from 1829, 1830, 1831,1832, and 1839, and are mounted in a 5" x 7' matting, inserted in a plastic sleeve. Note: The sticker residue seen in the photo is on the plastic sleeve, not on the matting, so once removed from the sleeve you will find a clean, crisp matting, ready for a frame. This is a great piece of preserved railroad history, and makes a unique gift for the train buff. These unused, color stamps were featured by the USPS 1987 to pay tribute to the beginnings of the railroad. From a smoke free, pet free home. Thanks for looking. 141
