Description
You are bidding on a set of 8 reproduction brown colored push buttons. These fit the 1941 Philcos. If your model number (found on a paper tag on the inside back of the radio) starts with "41-", then your radio is a 1941 model. These buttons measure 1/2 inch across the widest part and are 5/8 inch long. If you are not sure if they fit your radio, measure the total length of your old buttons. 1941 Philco radios used a brown pushbutton, not the wine-colored ones shown in another auction. You can find them in another eBay auction listed here. Check my other auctions. To install the buttons, put a daub of RTV or Elmer's glue on the shaft, and install the button. Otherwise, they may fly off the shaft when activated. :-) Don't use SuperGlue, as you may need to remove them in the future. Check your triangular chassis mounts on the corners of the chassis. If they are split or squashed, the chassis may be sitting too low, and the control shafts and pushbuttons may bind on the front of the radio. You can purchase the conrner mounts from RenovatedRadios.LLC on another auction on eBay.You are bidding on a set of 8 reproduction brown colored push buttons. These fit the 1941 Philcos.
