RARE Vintage Naugahyde Nauga Monster Store/Trade Show Display Advertising Figure
Extraordinary and unique huge Naugahyde Nauga monster display figure will be the focal point of even the most advanced collection. Likely used as a marketing device in stores that sold the material, trade shows, and apparently print ads as well (see last pic). Measuring an impressive 42" high with an "arm" span of approximately 76", it makes quite the statement! Condition is overall very good, especially considering its age of 50+ years and intended use. One of the "toes" is taped (probably needs new stitching), an old glue repair on the mouth, and the zipper on the back is stuck closed. Originally he had much more stuffing inside to plump him up....the new owner will need to repair the zipper to easily refill him with styrofoam peanuts or other material. First example I've seen in 30+ years of active collecting.
