Description
Pulsar Trail 2 LRF XQ50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope (50Hz), Hunting Rifle Scope - PLEASE CONFIRM AVAILABILITY BEFORE PURCHASEThe Pulsar Trail 2 LRF XQ50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope is a highly sensitive thermal imager designed for hunters tracking large game.
Thermal Imaging
The Pulsar Trail 2 LRF XQ50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope features a NETD 40mk thermal sensor with an IR resolution of 384 x 288px. It can recognise details even when thermal contrast is low such as during bad weather; for instance, the Pulsar Trail 2 XQ50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope can display small temperature differences in rain and fog, and on cold mornings.
This, along with the Pulsar Trail 2 LRF XQ50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope's ability to produce sharp, richly contrasted, high-definition thermal images, allows the user to identify animals and their extremities, as well as small details such as branches, leaves, grass and terrain. The Pulsar Trail 2 LRF XQ50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope also includes Image Boost technology which uses a combination of software algorithms to improve image clarity and detail. This increases the sharpness of the image improving the ease and certainty with which objects can be identified.
The Pulsar Trail 2 LRF XQ50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope’s NETD 40mk thermal imaging sensor and its powerful objective lens provide a detection range of up to 1800m (for a 1.8m-tall object), even in total darkness. Furthermore, its wide-angle six-lens eyepiece increases the field-of-view by 20% compared to the previous Pulsar Trail LRF XQ50 model. The Pulsar Trail 2 LRF XQ50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope has a 7.5° x 5.6° field of view. Moreover, the wide-angle, six-lens eyepiece, along with the riflescope's HD quality AMOLED display, provides a rich and deep image perception.
The Pulsar Trail 2 LRF XQ50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope HD AMOLED display also supports the riflescope's high refresh rate of 50Hz. A fast frame rate is particularly useful when tracking and/or shooting moving targets as it ensures motion is fluid and in real-time. This allows the user to make accurate speed assessments and place shots precisely.
Full-Colour HD AMOLED Display
The Pulsar Trail 2 LRF XQ50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope’s full-colour HD AMOLED display provides crisp, richly contrasted, vibrantly coloured, high-resolution and fluid thermal imaging.
The AMOLED display is frost-resistant and remains fully operational between -25°C and +50°C.
Furthermore, to conserve battery life and provide better concealment, the Pulsar Trail 2 LRF XQ50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope includes a Display Off function which powers down the display after a period of inactivity. This does not affect any of the Pulsar Trail 2 LRF XQ50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope’s other operating functions, thereby providing a faster restart time.
Imaging Modes & Tools
In addition to Image Boost technology, the Pulsar Trail 2 LRF XQ50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope features several imaging tools that allow the user to adapt the thermal riflescope as required.
Picture-in-Picture Mode
The user can zoom in on a particular object and/or target without compromising the overall field-of-view. The magnified image is displayed in the top-centre 10% of the total field-of-view. This mode can be used to help with precise shot placement.
Variable Digital Zoom
The Pulsar Trail 2 LRF XQ50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope has a 4x digital zoom. It can be used to improve focus and target recognition at significant distances.
Customisable Reticle Options
The user can choose from an array of colour customisable (black, white, red or green) reticles, including scalable ballistic reticles.
Integrated Precision Laser Rangefinder
The Pulsar Trail 2 LRF XQ50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope provides an easy and quick method of determining the distance to the target. It has an accuracy of ±1m up to a 1km distance. The integrated precision laser rangefinder can be used in two modes:
Single Time Measurement
Scanning: this mode allows the user to adjust quickly to changing distances for improved shot placement
Zeroing Profiles Management
Five zeroing profiles (each with up to ten distance coordinates) can be saved to the Pulsar Trail 2 LRF XQ50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope’s internal memory. This enables quick rifle change-outs and in-the-field adjustments.
16GB Internal Memory
The Pulsar Trail 2 LRF XQ50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope includes a built-in 16GB memory to which the aforementioned zeroing profiles and thermal images and footage can be saved. Recorded thermal media can be downloaded to a PC or smartphone.
Integrated Photo and Video Recorder
Using the REC button, hunters can capture footage and images to be saved to the internal memory and/or shared with other persons via Wi-Fi.
Wi-Fi Module & Android/ iOS Compatibility
The Pulsar Trail 2 LRF XQ50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope includes an integrated Wi-Fi module which enables connection to Android and iOS smartphones and tablets. This allows the user to share, download and stream images to the connected smartphone or tablet; this connection also enables the transfer of firmware updates to the Pulsar Trail 2 LRF XQ50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope.
Ergonomic
Easy-to-Use Interface
The Pulsar Trail 2 LRF XQ50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope has been designed to include a user-friendly interface. It features an easy-to-read, icon-driven, alpha-numeric status bar that is located at the bottom of the display.
Furthermore, internal menu items and options are displayed on a contrasting gradient substrate, allowing the user to view the settings without compromising his/her field-of-view.
Rugged
The Pulsar Trail 2 LRF XQ50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope is housed in a durable yet lightweight magnesium alloy. Increased structural rigidity reduces vibrations and allows the riflescope to withstand the recoils of high calibre rifles. The Pulsar Trail 2 LRF XQ50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope is recoil rated up to 6000 joules, making it suitable for use on larger calibres up to .375 H&H, 12-gauge and 9.3x64.
The Pulsar Trail 2 LRF XQ50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope’s shockproof magnesium alloy housing also provides better heat dissipation.
Additionally, the Pulsar Trail 2 LRF XQ50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope is IPX7 waterproof-rated and will remain completely functional even after submersion in up to three feet of water for up to thirty minutes. This makes the Pulsar Trail 2 LRF XQ50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope suitable for use in heavy rainfall and snow.
B-Pack Power Supply
The Pulsar Trail 2 LRF XQ50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope is supplied with a quick-detach, rechargeable IPS7, 6.4 A-h battery pack which is capable of providing up to eight hours of power.
The Pulsar Trail 2 LRF XQ50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope is also compatible with IPS14 battery packs (NOT included) and AA batteries (NOT included).
Instant Start-Up
The Pulsar Trail 2 LRF XQ50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope’s instant start-up (as well as the Display Off function) prolongs its battery life.
The Pulsar Trail 2 LRF XQ50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope’s innovative electronics mean it can start up in approximately three seconds.
The Pulsar Trail 2 LRF XQ50 Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope is a high-performance, ergonomic and versatile hunting tool.
