The Outerimpact picatinny rail for the Howa 1500/Weatherby Vanguard (Long Action) is machined from billet 6061 aluminum.  Rail is coated utilizing type III hard coat anodizing with up to 68 Rockwell.   These rails meet MIL-STD-1913/STANAG 2324 and the newer higher precision NATO STANAG 4694.
