Here's an early iron pontil Clarke & Co pretty green saratoga pint mineral water bottle from the 1850 era...... ....
CLARKE & CO NEW YORK
bold emb on front....Iron Pontil sunken bottom....crude applied double ring collar....deep teal green color....7 1/2"tall pint size....Good condition with only a shallow flake on top edge of lip; no other damage. A dug bottle with some light haze. Would easily tumble clean great since the glass is not etched or pitted. Crude whittled glass....a great looking early mineral water bottle!....John Clarke died in 1846, so this bottle may date from the 1840s
....After 50 years of digging and collecting we have decided to part with many of our bottles (to make room for more..haha)...so keep watching our listings as many rare treasures are being found!
