This is an early blackglass 3 pc mold blown Clarke & Co New York curved shoulder emb mineral water bottle from the 1857-1863 era....

NEW-YORK
on back shoulder in curved large bold letters...Early smooth base with dot...hand blown in 3 part mold.....crude applied collar...dark green blackglass....large quart size....8 3/4"tall...Excellent shiny near mint condition with only one tiny pinhead nick on bottom;  no other damage. A shiny clean bottle with no haze. Crude heavily whittled glass. About the finest example of this scarce Clarke & Co bottle with bold large letters that are in curved upward arc high on shoulder.
