An attractive registered cover sent from Sekondi, Gold Coast to Vernon, British Columbia, Canada. Franked with Gold Coast Scott #112-114 (Stanley Gibbons #117-119), the 1p, 2p and 3p stamps from the 1937 King George VI Coronation set. The stamps are tied to the cover by the Sekondi, Gold Coast Registered postmarks dated November 29, 1937. On the reverse are a Plymouth, Devon Registered transit marking dated December 11, 1937, a Winnipeg, Canada transit marking dated December 24, 1937 and a Vernon, B.C. split circle receiving mark dated December 27, 1937. This cover measures 152mm x 90mm. See scans for condition - corner crease.
